The Newport Centre Mall is located in Jersey City, New Jersey, near the Hudson River, on 30 Mall Drive West. It is owned by Simon Property Group and covers an area of 1.15 million square feet divided into 3 levels. It was built in 1987 and is the first super-regional enclosed mall in Hudson County and the largest mall close to Manhattan. It is estimated that in the holiday season 2 million people will shop here.
The mall is anchored by JCPenney, Kohl's, Macy's and Sears, but there are other 130 shops and services which can surely cater for all tastest. Other major stores inlude The Gap, American Eagle Outfitters, Brookstone, Express/Express Men, Victoria's Secret, Sephora, Aeropostale, Footlocker, Le Chateau, Aldo Shoes & Accessories, Ann Taylor Loft, Carol's Daughter, The Disney Store and Gymboree. There are no less than 15 eateries in the mall's food court and an additional full service restaurant, Gulf Coast BBQ.
